When you see two consonants in a row, first consonant dosen’t represent any sound. Instead, it’s asking you to take a short pause.

For example, when you say “ikkai (一樓),” after reading “i” take a pause before you read “ka.”


當你看到兩個子音在一起,第一個子音不發音,並表示要有一個短暫的停頓。

例如,當你說“ikkai(一樓)”,在讀了“i”之後,需停頓後再唸“ka”的音。
